When Liverpool FC sold Daniel Agger back to Brøndby IF, rumours were that they tried to secure a first refusal on Brøndby talents as part of the deal. True or not, Laursen will be on the radar either way, being an athletic, agile and strong winger/forward. The mighty Bayern Münich wanted to sign with him over the summer. Goals from top talents Rezan Corlu and Daniel Stückler can be seen in the clip as well. Photo: YouTube

Danny Amankwaa, 20, FC København
Facing England in the U17 EC in 2011 he was playing opposite Raheem Sterling of Liverpool and it was difficult to see who was the biggest wing talent of the two. Amankwaa is a speedster of the highest caliber who takes defenders on at will. He has turned down trial offers at Arsenal and Chelsea, but one day they might come knocking again. Photo: YouTube

Andreas Cornelius, 21, FC København
Sold to Cardiff for a whopping £8M, Cornelius is the most expensive player ever to leave the Danish Superliga. However the timing was bad and he is now back in Denmark. A powerhouse striker with good pace and a splendid technique. His morale may have taken a hit, but he will soon bang goals in right, left and centre. Photo: YouTube

Yussuf Poulsen, 20, RB Leipzig
The 1.93m winger moved from Lyngby to the German 3rd division with Leipzig last year. Poulsen has blistering pace and marvelous physique, combined with a poacher's eye for goal, which makes him a handful for defenders. He received his first call-up for Denmark's upcoming Euro qualifiers. Photo: RuTube

Nicolai Boilesen, 22, Ajax
Former Brøndby youngster Boilesen is an elegant, skillful and attacking-minded fullback who has long been reckoned as one of the most promising left-footed defenders around. Injuries have set back the former Danish Talent of the Year but he now seems stronger and less prone to injury. Fought off competition from Daley Blind, now of Manchester United, last season.Photo: YouTube

Jores Okore, 22, Aston Villa
The Ivory Coast born central defender, formerly of FC Nordsjælland, quite frankly has everything you would ask for in a defender: an amazingly strong physique, great power, good pace, agility and ball-intelligence. Rock solid. Okore is coming back to full fitness from a bad injury and will be seen as a corner-stone in Villa's defense.Photo: YouTube

Viktor Fischer, 20, Ajax
This über-talented former Midtjylland forward has been out of the limelight lately because of a complicated injury suffered last spring, but make no mistake - this lad can play. An incredibly opportunistic and goal-seeking player who, when on top of his game, reminds one of his former teammate at Ajax, Luis Suarez. He's got a lot of bite, and he will be back. Photo: YouTube

Andreas Christensen, 18, Chelsea FC
A classic ball-playing central defender (not unlike compatriot Daniel Agger) who has already been included in manager Jose Mourinho's A-squad in Chelsea. Far ahead of his contemporaries, the former Brøndby youngster is tipped for greatness in a few years time. An exceptional player with potential galore. Photo: Daily Mail

Pierre-Emile Højbjerg, 19, Bayern Münich
This Brøndby youngster was snapped up by Bayern when he was 16. His preferred role is as the central midfielder, where his big stature and strong-as-an-ox physique plays well with his technique, ability and vision. After 13 games for Bayern and three for Denmark, closing in on his big breakthrough. World class talent. Photo: YouTube

Christian Eriksen, 22, Tottenham
The icing on the cake in our list is midfield maestro Eriksen, formerly of Odense BK. In his first full Premier League season after his move from Ajax he tallied 10 goals and 10 assists, winning the accolade as both the fans and pundits Player of the Season. Amazing vision, superb skills and a free-kick that's out of this world. A joy of a footballer.
