Data shows Denmark to be among the EU's most expensive countries for everyday items. We want to know what feels most expensive -- and what seems cheap -- as an international resident of the Nordic country.

The average price of food in Denmark is some way over the average for the EU, with Denmark behind only Luxembourg as the union’s most expensive country for buying food in 2024, new analysis from Statistics Denmark has found.

Fish and bread seem to be among the most expensive items of all compared to other countries, based on the stats.
