Water on roads in several places in Eastern Jutland

Heavy rainfall on Tuesday night morning has left large puddles over many of the roads in Eastern Jutland, although so far this has only caused one accident, East Jutland Police said on Wedensday morning.  According to the officer on duty, Mikkel Møldrup, the vehicle hit a large puddle at high speed.

"They managed to slow down, but lost control of the car," he said.

According to the Møldrup, there are large puddles on the E45 motorway as well as on other main and country roads in the area.

According to P4 Trafik Midt & Nord, the right lane on Primærrute 15 (Djurslandmotorvejen) was closed on Wednesday morning around to exit to Søften due to the amount of water on the road.

Denmark's state forecaster DMI expects heavy rain to continue until midday on Wednesday so it is likely more puddles will develop.
