US rock legend Bruce Springsteen is heading to Denmark this summer as he brings his much-anticipated 'The River Tour' to Europe.
Springsteen and his E Street Band are set to perform at Copenhagen's Telia Parken arena on June 22nd. He was also play Gothenburg, Sweden on June 25th and Oslo, Norway on June 29th.

The rocker launched his The River Tour, named in honour of the 35-year-anniversary of his legendary 'The River' album, in the US city of Pittsburgh a few weeks ago, his first tour in two years.

The Boss has performed on Danish ground 14 times since 1981, most recently in the summer of 2013 when he played sold-out gigs at Telia Parken and Jyske Bank Boxen in Herning. The summer before, he delivered a marathon headlining performance at the Roskilde Festival.

"We can't wait to welcome Bruce Springsteen and his E Street Band back to the capital for yet another classic concert that will without a doubt go down in history," promoters Live Nation said in a press release.

Tickets for this summer's gig will be available from 10am on February 25th.

'The River' was Springsteen's fifth studio album, originally released on October 17th 1980. Including famous hits such as 'Hungry Heart', 'Independence Day' and 'The Ties That Bind', it has been ranked as the 253rd greatest album of all time by Rolling Stone magazine.
