Denmark's largest mobile network suffers outage

Denmark’s largest telecommunications company TDC says it is now operating normally after outages lasted around 1.5 hours on Tuesday.
“This morning, customers on the TDC NET mobile network experienced between around 10:15am and 11:45am problems making calls and sending and receiving SMS messages,” the company confirmed.
The network was back online again by noon, it said.
“By 12pm the mobile network was largely back to normal operation, though some mobile customers may still experience issues,” it added.
TDC owns the YouSee, TDC Erhverv, Telmore and Eesy service providers and is Denmark’s largest telecommunications company with over 3.1 million subscribers.
The breakdown resulted in difficulties for people attempting to contact the Danish Patient Safety Authority, which is responsible for Covid-19 contact tracing.
The health authority alerted the outage on social media, as did the Danish Tax Agency.
UPDATE: Fejlen på netværket er nu rettet, og telefonerne virker igen. Tak for tålmodigheden.
