In India, Indian-Chinese and Indian-Italian food is a rage. However Indian and Scandinavian food have not yet found common ground. How can these two flavours be combined to create a new palate of Indo-Nordic cuisine?

The use of similar spices in their cuisine has connected Scandinavia and India since the Viking Age. The Local's contributor Rupali Mehra visited the Tasting India Symposium to find out from some of the top chefs and food entrepreneurs of India and the Nordics what the future holds for the Indo-Nordic fusion cuisine.
