Police said that it has been ruled out that the woman was the victim of a crime and that there were no traces of alcohol, drugs or any type of poisoning in her body.
The woman died on July 2nd in her tent at Roskilde Festival, which is Denmark’s largest and oldest music festival.
A friend sleeping in the same tent noticed that the 20-year-old was having difficulty breathing and along with others helped get the woman out of the tent. They attempted to perform first aid and responders rushed the woman to the hospital.
At the time, police said that “everything points to this being an isolated incident” but six months later there is no further clarity on what actually happened.
“We consider the case closed. We have unfortunately been unable to figure out what she died from,” police spokesman Carsten Andersen told TV2 News.
