As if it wasn’t already enough with Nikolaj Coster-Waldau playing Jamie Lannister, the fifth season of smash hit Game of Thrones will be even more Danish.
Birgitte Hjort Sørensen, best known for her role in Danish TV drama Borgen, will appear as a wildling in the upcoming season, the actress wrote on Twitter Thursday:
In a new trailer for season five, Sørensen can be seen running for safety alongside her wildling kin (check the 0:14 mark).
Game of Thrones fan site WinterIsComing.net speculates that Sørensen might be playing Mother Mole, a wildling leader, or an amalgamation of several wildling characters found in the A Song of Ice and Fire novels that the TV show is based on.
The highly-anticipated new season of Game of Thrones has its Danish premiere on April 13th on HBO Nordic.
