Brian Bo Larsen escaped from prison for the 22nd time on December 13th and based on the way cops caught him on Monday morning, it sounds like he made the most of his time.
A Danish convict described in the national press as ‘the escape king’ broke out of prison for the 22nd time on December 13th and was caught in the early morning hours of Monday after a wild time on the run.

40-year-old Brian Bo Larsen was arrested on the island of Funen after drug-induced hallucinations caused him to wreck a stolen car.

Larsen was cruising in the stolen vehicle while high on drugs and accompanied by a hooker. According to the sex worker’s description of events, ‘the escape king’ began hallucinating, which caused him to crash through a fence, run into some trees and then get out to fight imaginary people.

Understandably enough, a local resident who witnessed the strange scene called the police.

When the cops arrived Larsen was gone, leaving only his female companion.

Police dogs shortly thereafter tracked down the escape artist, who was wearing a brown wig that caused suspicion amongst the arresting officers. The police soon discovered that their wig-wearing, imaginary-person-fighting suspect was none other than the same Brian Bo Larsen who has escaped lock-up 22 times.

He is now being held at police headquarters in Odense, where officials will decide whether to charge him with a series of new violations associated with his 10 days on the run or just ship him back to Vridsløselille prison, where he is serving a seven-year sentence for armed robbery.
