One-year-old boy survives five story fall
A small boy escaped with no life-threatening injuries or internal bleeding after falling out the window of a fifth-story flat in Valby.
A one-year-old boy survived a fall from a fifth story window in Copenhagen on Thursday. “He is doing well under the circumstances. It naturally causes injuries when one falls from the fifth floor, but it isn’t life-threatening. It is amazing that more didn’t happen when it was such a long fall,” Copenhagen Police spokesman Kristian Aaskov told Ritzau. Speaking to Jyllands-Posten, a police spokesman said that “there is nothing that points toward a crime” but did not give further information on the incident. The accident happened on Carl Jacobsens Vej in the Valby district. The boy was taken to Rigshospitalet for treatment.
