Three dead in traffic accident near Horsens
A traffic accident involving several vehicles and 17 people near Horsens claimed at least three lives and injured eight others on Friday morning.
South-East Jutland Police said that several vehicles – including a bus and a lorry – where involved in three related accidents on Motorway E45 in the northbound lane between Hedensted and Horsens on Friday morning. Initial reports indicated that five people had died, but police later amended that number to three. “The latest information from the scene is that there were 17 people involved in the accident. Six of them were uninjured, three were killed, three were seriously injured and five suffered minor injuries,” police wrote in a press release. Police said shortly before 11am that their investigation on the scene was completed but it was unclear when the motorway would open back up for normal traffic.
